"We would recommend the Mot Mot House and Manuel Antonio Estates to anyone who loves nature! We loved the house, it is wide open, big rooms, big kitchen, and a great porch to watch all the animal friends that come to visit every day. Every afternoon we would sit on the great big porch and watch the monkeys, sloths, butterflies and beautiful birds. The pool is fantastic, a great place to cool off! Elis and Dorit were so helpful in every way, they took care of our every need and organized some great excursions for us. We loved Manuel Antonio, it has many Resturants, we loved The Waggon, So Ni Como, El Avion, Rafell's. Quepos has a fantastic Farmers Market on Friday nights and Saturday morning, great food and crafts. We also spent a day at Hot Springs Lodge, located north of Quepos and up a Moutain, they served us lunch, you can hike to the Hot Springs and swim in a beautiful waterfall, do not miss this! Would go back to the Mot Mot House again for sure."
"While participating in the Quepos Billfish Cup out of La Pez Vella marina, our team and crew stayed at Manuel Antonio Estates. The management and staff were extremely accommodating and helpful while we enjoyed the luxurious accommodations after each day of the fishing tournament. We have found the location of this property to be optimim: a short walk to downtown Quepos, 4 minute taxi ride to the Marina and a short taxi ride up the hill to great dining and views of the pacific. We enjoyed the daily "monkey show" and the sounds and sights of numerous indigenous birds. The kitchen was well equipped and the a/c in the bedrooms was extremely welcome after a long hot day on the boat. Highly recommended."
"Wow. What a great way to begin our 10 days in Costa Rica. Thanks to Dorit for always replying in a timely manner to the many questions which I had for our groups stay. Being that it was our first time in Costa Rica, and that I'm a travel agent, I did have many questions. Excellent service Dorit. Thank You. The transportation you arranged for us from the SJO airport was excellent. Our driver stopped twice - once so we could eat (took us to a neat soda place) and again at the grocery store before dropping us off at the villa. Wow. The villa was much nicer and bigger than the photos show. It was perfectly located in the woods (up the steep hill) (not unusual for CR) yet only a 10 minute walk to downtown Quepos area. The bathrooms and bedrooms are huge, all rooms are quite large. The deck lower & upper was enjoyed by all. The hammock was a + as well. It was very clean and we had no issue with bugs (as others said they did). The pool was cleaned daily and kept at a nice temperature (approx. 75 degrees) which was nice after shopping and walking downtown for a few hours in the humid heat. Cool for our morning dip but it was very refreshing. The views around the villa are outstanding. We had monkeys, sloths and iguanas visit us at the villa as well as saw the Tucans at the office window. They don't even look real they are that beautiful. Our stay at the villa was enjoyed by our entire group. The teenagers loved....loved it. Thanks again for everything. Will be back for sure and will recommend to clients wanting to go to CR. Thanks to Emilie as well for welcoming us to the villa our first morning there. We had lots of questions for her as well and her recommendations were excellent and appreciated."
"Peaceful and quiet home in the Jungle. There´s everything you need!!! Great for families and friends. Totally recommended."
"This was our first time in Costa Rica and I absolutely loved it. We had a group of 6 adults for a birthday vacation. The house is beautiful, spacious and very close to Quepos. The pool was a great way to cool off after our daily adventures. We saw monkeys, sloths, toucans and a Mot Mot at the house. The house very clean and we had a friendly cleaning staff daily. Dorit was awesome. She arranged for a sailing trip, canopy tour and White water rafting on the Rio Savegre. I would recommend all of the tours. They’re fun and very professional. Everyone in our group felt very safe on the tours, even when they were doing things out of their comfort zone. We visited many restaurants but Ronnie’s place was our personal favorite. We went there two times in one week. The seafood is amazing and so is the sangria. I am going to recommend the Villa Mot Mot to my friends and family. I would only suggest staying longer than one week, because we didn’t want to leave. I hope to see you soon Costa Rica. Pure Vida."
"Our family of five -- mom, dad, and three teenagers -- had a great week at Mot Mot. Our transportation from San Jose was comfortable. We were greeted warmly and given a tour of the property. Our kids loved their rooms and the swimming pool. Dorit and the rest of the staff were very helpful setting up activities and offering advice on the area. We tool surfing lessons, snorkeled, went on an afternoon catamaran cruise, and visited the nearby national park. From the balcony we saw monkeys and a five to six foot long iguana basking on a sunny tree branch. We had a problem the first night with the house's DVD player. No big deal, but I mention it to say that the staff quickly and cheerfully replaced it with a new DVD player -- very responsive and impressive! We would certainly stay at Mot Mot again when in Costa Rica and recommend it for families like ours traveling to this beautiful country."
