I loved this tour and learning about the plants. Joshua was a really great guide and very knowledgeable! They are also building and incredible butterfly garden which they were gracious enough to let us go through! And we recieved and email with all the info of the plants. Thank you!

Diego was an incredible guide and ensured that we got the full experience that Manuel Antonio had to offer. From seeing monkeys, sloths, a boa, frogs and more, to the beautiful beach and the incredible jungle, Diego was kind, fun and very knowledgeable and great with our two kids (4 and 8). We loved this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone considering the experience!

Beatriz is amazing at spotting every single creature in the rainforest. We saw 3 types of monkeys with babies, 3 sloths, toucans, bats, lizards, frogs, and more! Her knowledge of all of them is incredible and she is super entertaining as a guide. She was so patient and never rushed us. The best guide ever.

Beatriz, I want to personally thank you for the guided tour this morning. Your knowledge of the park and animals was amazing. Beatriz took as much time as needed to answer all of the groups questions and was more than happy to take pictures for all guest utilizing her spotting scope. Thank you again and for the directions I requested after the tour. Perfect day!!

Our little group may have moved a little slower than others, but I think we might have had the best guide there! Beatriz was fun, extremely knowledgeable, and unbelievably good at spotting animals. We also got lucky, seeing both kinds of sloths and all three monkeys in the park. She even found a sloth before we got to the park! We were so glad we ended up going with a guide, we would have missed so much. Thanks for such a great day!

Not a lot of tourists so we could be so lucky to see many many rare animals.
I suggest to visit the park with a guide we were absolutely not able to spot this wonderful wildlife.
Our guide is Beatrice, she is awesome and very interesting. She has excellent knowledge! More over, she will soon have a bigger binocular to see even better from even further!
Bad points: don’t wait for your fruits that’s supposed to be included.. food there is disgusting and you’re not allowed to bring your own

Hello, I was on the fence about paying for a tour, wow, after taking a tour with Beatris can’t believe I ever thought twice about it! Beatris spotted a tucan before we even got into the park, she’s a real professional. If you walk through the park without a guide you will see a fraction of what you will see with Beatris.
Highly recommend!

Our guide Beatrice was amazing. She saw things I would have never known were there. She was very generous with her time and made sure we had a great experience. We even have the same breed of dog with the same name! Lol. She made sure we got pictures of everything and even took videos for us.

Our guide Bernie, took care of us from parking to entering the park, spotting animals, birds and insects and then leaving us at the most beautiful beach. Bernie, could spot not only monkeys, but sloths, bats, hummingbirds, cool spiders, lizards, flowers and plants. Without our guide Bernie, we never would have enjoyed the park like we did. Bernie made the park come alive for us! Would highly recommend the tour!

Our guide Beatriz was amazing! Very generous with her time and enthusiasm for helping us spot things. Her stories were very entertaining and the 3 hr tour flew by. Would highly record this tour. Our only bummer was the trip advertised fruit and bottled water were included. We received 1 bottle of water for both of us and no fruit. Would recommend the tour company change their advertising or provide those things.

Our tour guide Mile was great. She was very well versed in her knowledge about the animals and plants and was able to answer all of our questions. My daughters were so excited to see the animals up close through the spotting scope and learn about the history of the park.

Beatriz was the best tour guide we had in Costa Rica, we wouldn’t be able to see any animals without her. She is intelligent, funny, patient & made the tour so much fun. Must do if your in Manuel Antonio. We saw 2 Sloths, a Jesus Lizard, dozens of monkeys (capuchin & squirrel), and so much more.

Night jungle with all its magical sounds was mesmerizing!
Ficus tree, 30 years old Bromellia, Oophaga poisonous dart frog, bull frog – poisonous, grows up to 0.5 Kg, Amblypygi is a cross between a scorpion and a spider, called a tailless scorpion, male and female golden orb spider nephila, brazilian banana spider – its bite sends you to the hospital, gladiator frog, Red eye leave frog, and Jesus Christ lizard – runs on the water 1.5 meters per second. We were looking for snakes and caiman crocodiles but did not see any this time. Beatriz is amazing tour guide. She is educated and knowledgeable; very excited about nature and beauty of rainforest. Beatriz takes stunning photos and videos using your camera, just ask her. Also ask Beatriz about her future educational projects. Very nice and exciting person. She deserves every minute of your time. Tipping is welcomed too. Definitely must go tour.

Cesar was our guide and he could not have been better. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and can identify every sound and every insect we saw. I would definitely recommend wearing the wellies (rubber boots for Americans!) that they provide to protect your feet and ankles. Sadly we didn’t see any snakes but the amazing spiders, possums and tree frogs more than made up for it. A highly enjoyable experience, I definitely recommend it.

We’re so happy we signed up for this tour. Our guides were Cesar and Beatrice. They were both very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about their profession. We got to see lots of frogs, toads, millipedes, caiman, spiders, lizards, whip scorpions, bats, opossums, and lots of other animals in their native home. We learned a lot about the local flora and fauna, and really got to appreciate the natural beauty of Costa Rica. We would never be brave enough to go into the jungle at night on our own, but we felt very safe and comfortable with our guides. We’re so glad we got to see a glimpse of the nocturnal world, and we now have some very cool photos to share with our family and friends. Beatrice has a great eye for photography, and will gladly help you take the perfect photo. Thank you for an awesome adventure 🙂

See nature like you would never otherwise see it

We did this tour on a dry day, so there were notably less creatures and activity than we would have gotten on a rainy night. But we didn’t mind, we loved the experience and our guide was very knowledgable about the forrest. More than 50% of the wildlife in the rainforest comes out at night, so you will see the forrest like you would never otherwise. Highly recommend!
Everyone was very COVID friendly and wore masks the entire time.

Our tour happened to fall on a very rainy evening, which isn’t even a bad thing considering how many night time creatures come out on rainy nights. Our tour guide, Beatrice, was so pleasant and very knowledgeable. She helped us get pictures of all the frogs and insects we saw. The location of the tour takes you on a very promising up and coming forest, all focused on reservation and conservation, as well as building new gardens. Very encouraging to see of such a biodiverse country. We hadn’t initially looked into night tours, but were recommended one by a fellow tourist, and we are so happy we did it.

Twelve family members on the tour and we had a great time. The rain forest is wonderful at night. Very knowledgeable tour guide (Christian) and he worked hard to find many insects, spiders, and animals. A highlight was the red-eyed tree frog. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this tour, the forest is magical at night and we saw so many species up close. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, the trails are quite flat and easy to walk in sturdy shoes. We came away with a greater understanding of the forest ecosystem here. It’s very humid, take a water bottle!

Our guide was Felipe and he was extremely knowledgable about the flora, fauna, and general ecosystem. We were super happy we chose to do this tour although I was a little sad not to see a sloth. Bug repellent and lots of water are a must! Make sure you also inquire about the churro budget! 🙂
