If you are looking to observe all of our rich biodiversity in one day, this tour is perfect for you! You will have the opportunity to observe the marine and terrestrial wildlife that the South Pacific has to offer… You will see the “Ballena Marine National Park” where you can see one of the major attractions of the Park: Punta Uvita or commonly called the “Whale Tail,” also you may see one of the caves called “Ventanas”, or “windows” in English, as well as Ballena Rock.

Along the coast you may find dolphins and, in whale season, you can also see humpback whales in their yearly migration. Once you finish the journey along the coast you will get to the Sierpe River where you can explore one of the largest mangrove systems of Central America: The Terraba-Sierpe mangroves. During the tour, you will navigate through the channels of these mangroves, where you can observe many species of birds such as ospreys, scarlet macaws, etc.

Also, you may have the chance to see the 4 species of monkeys that we have in the country, all in one place! And of course, crocodiles and caimans which are characteristic of this area!
