For more experienced rafters, the Chorro cascades down a narrow canyon from the mountainsides of Esquipulas. Exquisite rock formations, deep gorgeous and primary rainforest make this an especially unique river experience. Restrictions: Ages 15 – 60 yo welcome, good physical condition. Jan-Apr only.

Recommendations

  • Bring Swimming suit and/ or shorts of a quick-drying material
  • Towel
  • Sunscreen (spf-15 or higher)
  • A complete change of clothes in the rainy season
  • Rubber soled shoes that stay on and can get wet
  • Strap on sandals
  • Tennis shoes or similar
  • Flip Flops are not an option
