Overview

Welcome to the Central Pacific Coast – This tour is given by the Animal Caretakers in the Wildlife Sanctuary and the tour includes a snack at the end of the tour.

Our multi-species enclosure, which is the largest in Central America, where humans walk through a cage inside of the enclosure so that the monkeys can climb all around you.

This newly expanded tour includes our Wildlife Manager feeding rescued animals (through a glass wall for the animal’s protection) that are not normally seen by the public due to the fact that they will be released back into the rainforest.

Our Wildlife Manager will also give a talk and take questions about the animal being shown. Animals being shown could vary, so when you book your tour feel free to ask what animal you will get to view.

Meet our precious Monkeys up close: the endangered Titi Squirrel, White Faced Capuchin, Spiders, Marmosets, and Tamarins!

At the end of the tour, you can enjoy the pool on site or shop in the fun Wildlife Store.

Get the chance to see wildlife from up close & support a local organization at the same time: all proceeds go toward the animals!

We had a wonderful time at Kids Saving The Rainforest. Chip was so nice and welcoming. Our tour guide Juan Carlos told us about all of the animals and shared some funny stories! The sloths were so cute and some were awake (luckily). Overall we loved touring this wonderful refuge! We are excited for them to get some new animals in the next few days.

We had a great guide, who could share his every knowledge about the animals, their stories and characters with us. The people working in the place were very friendly. After the tour we could cool down in the pool just by ourselves. This was a very nice place to be. Thank u:)

We really enjoyed the tour with Mackenzie getting up close with the animals and hearing their sad backstories but also as a result of the great work in the sanctuary the hope and safety they have for the future. Well worth doing.
