Overview

Mulguri is considered a natural paradise for those who want to be in harmony with nature, in a place that has astounding beauty working hand in hand with nature, far from the noise of vehicles and the city. A very experienced and certified ICT nature bilingual guide will take you via a 4×4 vehicle into the astounding jungle of Costa Rica.

On a one-hour trip from Manuel Antonio, you will pass through small local villages, natural springs, rainforests, and then into the remote backcountry of this area known as Quebrada de Arrollo. The first stop takes you to a beautiful pavilion with clean restrooms where you can refresh and enjoy some tropical fruits and a beverage. Then, there is a hike through the trails to explore and discover the pristine waterfalls and natural pools. Just before getting in the water, there is an exhilarating experience crossing a suspended bridge just above the water drops, with a full view of the mountain right on the forest canopy.

Access to the waterfalls is possible by walking a trail down steps leading to a pristine and safe waterfall area that resembles a natural Jacuzzi with various depths for the security and enjoyment of all. There are a total of three waterfalls and four natural swimming pools.

After you cool off, the tour continues with a visit to a self-sustaining farm where you will be served a delicious traditional Costa Rican wood stove lunch on the patio. The property is surrounded by mountains with green leafy forests and located right at the foot of the mountain.
